Greetings Folks!

Well I hope that we were able to get a hold of everyone who was planning on coming out to the meeting last month BEFORE you left your house. Even though we didn't get the accumulation of snow that was called for, the roads did get pretty bad. In fact, I was on my way home from church at little after 12:00, about the time most of you would be on the road, and a car headed southbound on I79 had just flipped over onto its roof and another was in the median. It made me very thankful that we had called the meeting off. So I guess the moral of this story is if the weather is bad and you aren't sure if we are going to have a meeting, and you haven't heard from one of us, PLEASE give me a call before you head out. It's a whole lot better if we have to cancel a meeting than to have one of you get into some type of accident.

And since we didn't have a meeting last month, there really isn't anything new to report to you. At this months meeting we will pick up the discussion on the different schedule proposals. I will also ask for some help in contacting a few people and lining up a few things.   After all the show

talk and other items are taken care of, Draper will be starting a series of work sessions designed to show us the proper use and different techniques for all of the major types of stamping tools and the swivel knife. As most of you know, Draper is a great teacher. He keeps things fun as

he shares from his vast storehouse of knowledge. I know I'm excited!!  Just one other item of note:

We are in need of someone who can work on and maintain our web-site. If you know your way around a computer and you have a little bit of extra time to help the guild out, please let Draper or myself know. Once we really start to advertise for the 2006 show, people are going to want to know who we are and where they can get information about the show. Yes, we will be sending them to the IILG web-site, but it sure would be nice if we could have our site up and running again too. This is just one more way you can help make our guild a little better. Thanks.  If God is willing and the creeks don't rise and the snow doesn't fall, I hope to see many of you at our next meeting!

the IFOLG show coming to Pittsburgh in 2006, we need a place that we can send people to that will tell them everything they need to know about the show as well as promote both the PPLG and the IILG.

Speaking of the 2006 IFOLG show, we will pick up our conversation about the different schedules proposed for the show at this months meeting. Included in that conversation will be the results of the vote on this topic, taken by members of the IILG. So,

here again are the two proposals:

CHRIS  WRITES :   I recently ran across a book of puzzles & logic that I bought years ago. And since we +have some space in this months newsletter I thought I would share one with you. See if you can figure it out before the next meeting.

During the summer in Zelienople

the shoe store is closed every Monday,

the hardware store is closed every Tuesday,

the leather store is closed every Thursday,

and the bank is open only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Everything of course is closed on Sunday.

One Afternoon Draper, Kevin, Dave and Terry went shopping together,

each with a different place to go.

On their way they dropped the following remarks:

Draper ; Terry and I wanted to go earlier in the week but there wasn't a day when                           we could both take care of our errands.

Kevin: I didn't want to come today but tomorrow I couldn't do what I have to do.

Dave: I could have gone yesterday or the day before just as well as today.

Terry: Either yesterday or tomorrow would have suited me.

WHICH PLACE DID EACH PERSON NEED TO VISIT IN TOWN?
